Have I let you down? I’m sorry if I have. Maybe you have wondered what I have been doing for the past couple years. I was suffering from writer’s block. Seriously…. For two years, I didn’t know what to say or what to do with this blog. But now I’m ready to restart blogging again! I hope you will rejoin me in this endeavor. Before I tell you what I will be blogging about, let me tell you a bit about what I have been doing and where I am right now. What I have been doing In one of my last posts, I … Continue reading
Wow! I can’t believe it has been so long since I’ve blogged. If you follow me on Facebook, you know I’m still alive. Here’s What I’ve Been Doing We took a trip to Northern California to visit family and do the touristy thing in San Francisco. We all had a great time! I made applesauce and cider from about 50 lbs of the 100 lbs of apples I picked in the fall. The rest of them are in cold storage and I plan on making more applesauce very soon. My husband built me 6 more garden boxes for next year’s … Continue reading

After a trip to see some friends who have a few acres, we were … Continue reading
“There’s no time like the present.” We’ve all heard that one before, but it’s true. If you want to make a change, even if it’s a small one, you need to start now. “Just do it!” Thanks, Nike. Last year I had been buying mostly organic vegetables from my local farmer through a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) and during the off season from my local grocery store because I am on the GAPS diet to clear up some health issues. Organic is not an option for me anymore and can be very expensive. Even though I had met my farmer, … Continue reading
Hello everyone! I’m just getting started and ask for your patience. This is a whole new world for me! I’m still working outside the home until the end of March and am sick as well, so it is a slow start. I have a lot planned for this blog. I’ll be sharing my new goal to homestead the little plot of earth God gave us, my chronic Epstein-Barr virus/Fibromyalgia journey, and how I’m healing with GAPS and real food. You can read a little more about me here. If you are interested, I will consider blogging about how I homeschooled … Continue reading

I’m so excited and really looking forward to helping you make some positive changes in your life. Sustainable changes that will really make a difference in this world. Thank you for joining me in this adventure!
